HUCKABEE PULLS ANTI-ROMNEY ADS IN POOR STUNT
After anticipating Huckabee attacking Romney, I was disappointed when he withdrew the ads at the last minute in a political stunt. Huckabee could have taken the high road, but that would have meant NOT showing the ad to anyone – especially the press. Instead, he showed the ad hoping he could draw attention to negatives in Romney’s record and circulate the idea that Romney is not trustworthy, while at the same time looking like the bigger man. It was nothing short of a con job. It cost Huckabee $30K in air time and ad development, but it could have cost him more. Without a win in Iowa, Huckabee could see his support dry-up very quickly.

HUCKABEE TO AIR ANTI-ROMNEY ADS TODAY / TOMORROW
I’ve heard from different people that Huckabee has made a media buy and spent the last few days working on an anti-Romney ad that is supposed to be quite strong. Huckabee is taking a risk of going negative, especially since he spent that last few weeks attacking Romney for his ads. As soon as the ad becomes available I will post it here and in the main blog.
