My name is Michael Hackmer, and I am a marketing professional and part-time journalist who is interested in media (new and traditional), technology and marketing, and how technology can impact the social webs we build and come into contact with every day.

The focus of both my blog and radio program (click to listen to the radio show podcasts) is to delve into these areas and to see what lessons can be learned or new things discovered. We talk about things like: “Antenna-gate” and what is going on with Apple; did Ben & Jerry’s abandon email marketing in favor of just using social media; what is going on in the television industry and do we need/want radio in our mobile phones; and much, much more.
